DELAND, FLORIDA, 1883
This print features a great birds-eye panorama view of Deland, Florida as it was in 1883. Views include DeLand Grove House, DeLand Academy (now Stetson Universiy), Gillen Orange Grove, Parce Land Hotel, General Store of G. A. Dreka, the Baptist Church, Home of Rev. D. Moore, Lake Helen (named after Henry A. DeLand's daughter). Henry DeLand came from New York in 1876. He made his fortune in the baking soda business. These images were taken from original rare chromolithographs that were sketched from nature by L. U. Dodge. We have now given restored life to these scenes and they now become a beautiful detailed archival giclée art rendering* for your home, shop or office. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
