WINTER IN THE COUNTRY

MORNING CHORES

What a beautiful scene - "Winter in the Country - Morning Chores." It was originally painted by George Henry Durrie, most always working near his home in New Haven, Connecticut. His art works for Currier & Ives are some of the most sought after. His large folio prints fetch prices exceeding $4000 today. This original hand colored large folio lithograph was published by Currier & Ives in 1863. 99% of your viewers will believe yours is an original. (Our original was missing the title. With a little research found that the original title, subtitle, size was not clearly listed or described in Conningham Study. It might be a rare variation so we arbitrarily titled and sub-titled it )
